Guests enjoyed access to the exhibition before it opens to the public and an opportunity to mingle with some of the artists and Mera and Don. There was an open bar with beer, wine, bubbles and South Beach-inspired bites, as well as world music of Sound’ailleurs—DJ Elodie Maillot. Here, NMWA’s Mara Kurlandsky with Smithsonian's Alana Morro and Lauren Appelbaum.
