Noche Tropical Gala!
We went to Mary's Center annual Noche Tropical Gala at the Four Seasons Hotel and snapped the gala co-chairs, Advisory Board Co SVP Matthew Klinger and Walmart gov relations director Nina Albert.
Mary’s Center provides healthcare, family literacy and social services to individuals whose needs go unmet by the public and private systems. Here, NBC4 Chief Meteorologist Doug Kammerer, who served as emcee, Mary's Center CEO Maria Gomez, and Pepco Holdings VP Debbi Jarvis.
Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, dessert reception and dancing. During dinner, attendees heard stories from those whose lives have been changed by the Center. Congrats to Mary's Center pediatrician Kristina Andersson, who won an employee of the year award. She's bookended by Provision No. 14's Jad Bouchebel and attorney Will Potterveld.
Mary's Center uses a holistic, multi-pronged approach to set each participant on the path to good health, stable families and economic independence. Here, GEICO's Wil Maldonado and Mirian Freeborn bookend their spouses, Atrinova's Tammi Maldonado and Action Safe & Lock's Michael Freeborn.
