Donations made at the event supported the MD/DC Chapter’s urban conservation program, specifically their work on the tree canopy in the District. The Nature Conservancy’s Generation Conservation is a local group of Conservancy supporters who plan events several times a year to help raise awareness for the conservancy and its conservation projects. Here, IKEA's Wendy Owens, environmental consultant Shoshana Risman and SharePower Responsible Investing's Barry Wind.
