Dancing After Dark!
Saturday, we went to the 11th annual Dancing After Dark at Dock 5 at Union Market. We snapped Beckham Gumbin Ventures LLC’s Paul Grayson, who also serves as a Junior Council of Children’s National Health System co-chair, HKS’ Emily Dickinson and Cushman & Wakefield’s Philip Dickinson.
The event was hosted by the Junior Council of Children’s National Health System and raised money for Children’s National’s new Fund for Every Child — ensuring that every child can receive exceptional care, regardless of insurance or ability to pay. Close to $170K was raised at the event. Here, GMU’s Anabel Kelso, Advisory Board’s Peter Benziger, who is a Junior Council co-chair, and Fannie Mae’s Monica Miller.
Over 500 young professionals, emerging leaders and children’s health advocates enjoyed the evening of cocktails and dancing to the music of local band Nightsong. Here, Children's National Health System mascot Dr. Bear and DHS’ Madeline Salesses with Patrick Slagle.
Children’s National Health System has been serving the nation’s children since 1870 and is recognized for its expertise and innovation in pediatric care and as a strong voice for children through advocacy at the local, regional and national levels. Here, Junior Council board member Ali Rosenberg with Thos. D. Walsh’s Keith Carr.
