Wall of Hope!

Placeholder

Bethesda’s Urban Country participated in the Race for Hope, a 5K run/walk that raises money for brain tumors and research. Its 150 member team, Jeffrey’s Goofy Gang, runs in honor of Jeffrey Roth, company founder, who lost his battle to brain cancer in 1999. They’ve raised more than $75,000 over the years, but have touched thousands through the Wall of Hope, a 32-foot-long tribute with 300 photos, wishes, and stories for a survivor or in memory of a loved one. This year, Urban Country ran in celebration of 13-year-old brain cancer survivor Mikka Harvey. He’s surrounded by Urban Country co-owners, the Roth family: Sascha, Jillian, Rachelle, and Chloe.
