The Washington DC Snowball Fight Association (yes, this is a real organization) was prepared for Monday’s storm, putting on another well-organized snowball fight that began in Dupont Circle.
Although the fight was moved to the National Mall, competitors eagerly participated in rounds of combat at the Dupont Memorial Fountain.
The fight attracted dozens of participants--even Big Foot--who were ready to show off their athleticism after weeks of watching the Winter Olympics.
Here, Andre Marin and Alice Nader of Sao Paulo. She tells us that, being from a warm climate, she's amazed how snow brings people together. He's surprised that most of the participants were adults.
