Last night, we also went to The Fairmont Hotel for Leadership Greater Washington's annual spring event. The most interesting, and tension-filled, moment occurred when emcee Rebecca Cooper, WJLA Washington Business Report anchor, called Councilwoman Muriel Bowser to take the stage with the man she just beat in Tuesday’s primary, incumbent Mayor Vincent Gray. The two posed with LGW prez Timothy Kime before briskly walking away.

We snapped DC Chamber of Commerce prez Barbara Lang, right, who recently announced her retirement and received an Innovative Leadership Award. She’s with her husband Lang Strategy’s Gerald Lang and her colleague Barbara Seay.
