We went to the Newseum to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Elizabeth Glaser Foundation, a global leader in the fight against pediatric AIDS and HIV. We snapped EGPAF CEO Chip Lyons with honoree Nancy Pelosi, who received the Congressional Global Champion Award for her commitment to an AIDS-free future.

The foundation was established by the late Elizabeth Glaser after she contracted HIV through a blood transfusion and unknowingly passed the disease to her children. Her one surviving son, program ambassador Jake Glaser, flew in from Venice Beach, CA to speak. He’s with EGPAF’S Anje Giphart, John Van Den Anker, and his mom, Children’s Hopsital’s Natella Rakhmanina.
