Vogue Mag Debut for Baltimore AG

Placeholder

The youngest top prosecutor in any major American city, Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby saw a whirlwind of attention after her announcement of 28 charges against the six police officers involved in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray. (The director of the movie Selma even tweeted her desire to make a documentary about AG Mosby.) Now the attention on Mosby includes a profile in Vogue and a portrait by famed celebrity photog Annie Leibovitz. The rioting in Baltimore didn't factor into Mosby's decision, the state's attorney said, she just "followed where the facts led." She'd wanted to become a lawyer since high school, when her 17-year-old cousin was shot and killed by another teenager. "'How could we have gotten to that young man before he picked up a gun?'"
