Shields Re-Elected

Placeholder

Yesterday, Wiley Rein announced that managing partner Peter Shields was re-elected for another three-year term. We snapped this of Peter, right, in 2012, when he took over for founder Dick Wiley (left) after almost 30 years. (Making a cameo in the photo: one of Dick's two Emmys.) Peter is also on the executive committee of McBee Strategic Consulting, which the firm acquired as a wholly owned subsidiary in December. The board chair of nonprofit N Street Village, Peter also expanded the firm's pro bono work: increasing hours, appointing a pro bono partner, and getting hands-on with activities including assembling Thanksgiving baskets for families and the ice bucket challenge.
