N Street Village Gala Raises $800K For Vulnerable DC Women

The N Street Village Gala recently gathered 600 guests at the Ritz-Carlton to raise $800k for the nonprofit, which empowers homeless and low-income women in DC. Wiley Rein managing partner Peter Shields is the chairman of the board, in addition to sitting on the boards of Washington Performing Arts and the Legal Aid Society of DC. Peter is pictured at the gala with House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and N Street Village executive director Schroeder Stribling. Pelosi presented the Founder's Award to Sen. Barbara Boxer and her daughter Nicole Boxer, a filmmaker who created a documentary featuring women in substance abuse recovery at N Street Village.
