Kelley Drye & Warren's partners seem to have an adventurous streak. Paul Rosenthal co-chairs the government relations practice and is on the executive committee, but when he's not in the office, he's letting the rubber hit the road. This summer, he took his biking obsession to the French Alps.
Paul actually completed part of the Tour De France—including the famous Alp D’Huez. Perhaps he used stamina built up from more than 35 years of practicing law, working on international trade and government relations issues, and previously managing the DC office.
Here's Kelley Drye environmental law practice chair Bill Guerry getting closer to nature, windsurfing Hood River in Oregon. (He claims the wind was blowing 35 miles per hour that day with high swells. Since his practice focuses on renewable energy, perhaps he was just researching wind power?)
We hear Bill routinely joins conference calls from the parking lots of sailing marinas while he’s getting ready to go out. When he's on land, Bill can often be found galloping through hill and dale on his horse, Wimpy. Bill could tell you plenty of stories, including one where his dog took a rattlesnake bite for him.
