Good News For Mobility

fixmo-randy siegel2

Fixmo US federal government markets SVP Randy Siegel got the news he and his Sterling, Va., company had been waiting for: DISA approval of Android-based devices running Samsung Knox. (First Outlook allows GChat. Now this. Let's go, Israel/Palestine.) It opens the door for federal agencies to start letting employees use COTS devices for official work functions. Fixmo will provide the foundational security that ships with every Samsung device, allowing "DOD agencies like the Air Force to deploy many more mobile technologies from Fixmo across the board," says Randy. DISA also recently said government-issued Blackberry 10 and iOS6 mobile devices are approved to connect to DOD networks within current mobility pilots or future mobile frameworks. Fixmo also has a hand in managing these devices.
