NAB Finds New HQ at Capitol Riverfront

After a years long search the National Association of Broadcasters will move its HQ to the last of Monument Realty's Navy Yard area parcels at M and South Capitol streets. The new 10-story Capitol Riverfront building, controlled by Monument and Angelo, Gordon & Co., will feature a curved facade, a rooftop terrace with a view of the Capitol and a 100-seat theater. The association plans to pay for it by selling its 73,315 SF Dupont Circle HQ at 1771 North St NW, assessed at $17.1M, the Washington Business Journal reports. No word yet on whether the NAB will take the entire building or part of it. The association and its 150 employees will relocate to the new building in fall 2018. [WBJ]
