Jamestown Leases 100k SF Of Its One Metro Center To USAC

Jamestown has just signed a lease with Universal Service Administrative Co for 100k SF at One Metro Center.

USAC will occupy the entire ninth floor and part of the 10th floor at One Metro, where it will account for roughly 25% of the building’s total leasable area. The building features several amenities as well as a six-story, 5k SF stone and glass atrium, and is just wrapping up renovations to its lobby and rooftop. 

USAC is moving to the space from 2000 L St NW, and plans to actually move in September. Other tenants at the building at 700 12th St NW include the Research Trial Institute and law firm White & Case. Jamestown paid $730 per SF for the building in 2013.

Jamestown also recently secured four leases—two new and two extensions—at Madison Office with the Association for Community Affiliated Plans, Vrge Strategies, The Appraisal Foundation and Wolters Kluwer. All four leases run between 5k and 7k SF.

CBRE repped Jamestown in the One Metro deal. Apparently the Christmas party the two companies held jointly in the new atrium at One Metro Center paid off.
