WeWork Crystal City will occupy the top two floors in the co-working company's first WeLive residential concept at 2221 S Clark St, in a converted office building owned by Vornado.

WeWork is also growing in another Vornado building, 1875 Connecticut Ave NW (Universal North). The third, 10th and 12th floors are already filled with Millennials working in glass boxes drinking free coffee, but now WeWork is taking over the 11th floor. We're told that the new space won't be ready until late spring/early summer.

WeWork officials didn't comment on either aspect of the project, but it is testing its WeLive concept in New York right now. Above is what the NYC beta test micro-unit looks like.

"We are in the early stages of beta testing a new, community-driven living concept in New York City," the company said in a statement. "This concept is another layer of our platform focused on enabling people to live more fulfilling lives. During this testing phase, we’ll be listening to feedback from our community and we’ll have more to share in the future."

According to Fast Company, about 80 people have moved into 110 Wall St, which will eventually have about 600 residents on 12 floors. The beta testers—and, one assumes, future WeLive residents—have access to cleaning and laundry services, Sunday dinners, fitness classes and other amenities.
