Top Golfers: JLL's Andrew Medley

Placeholder

The first top golfer in our new series is JLL VP Andrew Medley, whose father put a set of golf clubs in his hand at age 12 and said, “Go figure out a way to get the ball in the hole faster than others.” So he started playing recreationally and became serious about the game when he was 15. “I was a late bloomer,” Andrew tells us, but that didn’t stop him from getting a golf scholarship to Ole Miss. He played there competitively for three years and transferred to University of Arizona his senior year. After graduating, he moved to Phoenix with his college teammate and current PGA Tour member Ricky Barnes (left, with Andrew in Monterey, Calif.), where he turned pro in 2003 and began to play competitively all over the world. He played on various professional tours including The Gateway Tour, US Pro Tour, Nationwide Tour, AG Spanos Tour, and attempted Q School four times for the European Tour and PGA Tour. After missing Q School in 2007, he decided to get into commercial real estate, in which he's recently repped tenants like Rossmar & Graham, Concur Technologies, 41st Parameter, Isagenix, VIP Mortgage, and AKDHC. His favorite course: Butler National in Chicago.
