Diablo!

Fresh from a string of huge deals with Computershare and Xerox, Colliers International's Charles Miscio is pursuing a data center user at a Tempe tech-focused office building. He helped landlords land Computershare for 110k SF at 2900 S. Diablo Way, aka Diablo Technology Center. (Newmark Grubb Knight Frank's Dan Dobric repped the tenant.) Now Colliers will convert 38k SF of space there to market to data center users, Charles tells us: “We lack natural disasters, which is key for data centers and employers with large employee counts,” he says. (Though it means Michael Bay will probably never set a movie here.)

Xerox also recently inked a deal for 71k SF and Emerson for 66k SF as well. “There's still a very strong demand for large blocks of space,” Charles tells us. “The larger users that are national with strong credit continue to view Phoenix as a great option, even though they keep markets like Denver, Vegas, Austin and Albuquerque on their radar.”
