Bisnow Scoop: Tishman Sells Again

Washington, D.C. Office

Two weeks, two big sales. After shedding one big downtown office last week, Tishman Speyer has sold another, again to a foreign buyer. (If we had a nickel for every foreign purchase this year, we'd have five... lira riyal pence... exchange rates are hard.)

Market sources have confirmed to Bisnow that the firm officially sold 2550 M St earlier this week for $156M, or a little over $747/SF. The buyer is a Korean entity (its currency is called won), we're told, and marks the second foreign sale in as many weeks for Tishman, after the firm sold 1110 Vermont to Epic UK last week, which we told you about Monday. Patton Boggs occupies most of the 208k SF 2550 M and signed a 15-year renewal for the property last year. We're told the HFF team of Steve Conley, Jim Meisel, Dek Potts, and Andrew Weir repped Tishman.
