Memorable project: Central Place in Rosslyn – started October 2005. 10 years of site plan approval, financial crisis, completion of JV and financing, construction started at residential tower, signed CEB lease, construction started at CEB Tower, and birth of Andy’s two children. Finished product will be 40k SF of retail, central public plaza connected to Metro, observation deck, 377 residential units and 500k SF of office. Ground floor spaces, public spaces and residential will deliver in early 2017 and CEB will move in early 2018.
Current project: Capitol Point South–580k SF mixed use project in NoMa. Signed anchor lease with Landmark Theater for 1,200-seat theatre. Building was separated for a public plaza wrapped by theatre entry, restaurants, coffee shops and bars, topped with boutique, small-unit residential building, industrial style loft office building and trophy office building at corner of 1st and N Sts. In the ground by early next year.
CRE career: Hired by Clark Construction out of Lehigh in ’98. Placed on development project called Trinity Centre in Centerville and acted as junior developer.

Why DC: NYC was too intense.
Schools: Lehigh (civil engineering) and Georgetown (MBA).
First job: Father’s trucking business in the garage. (“Learned a lot of new words from his mechanics.”)
Job in another life: Mountain guide in Alaska.
Daily habit: Home in time for children's’ bedtime routines.
Favorite app: OxBlue–can see all projects under construction via web-based cameras mounted at each site.

Hobbies: Running, competing in obstacle races, traveling, hiking and biking.
Startling fact: Injured more times than anyone else–hundreds of stitches, broken back, shard of metal in cornea, metal spike through foot, etc. Mother is still alive and healthy despite the stress.
