Memorable project: LEED Platinum HQ for US Green Building Council. Designed systems that use less than half the energy of  typical office space.
Current project: Designing several advanced MEP systems for higher ceiling office buildings.
Career start: Worked for GHT founder Goodie Hunt Taylor as tennis court attendant on Eastern Shore at age 12 to 15. Asked for construction job after college and was offered job at GHT’s engineering firm instead. 
Grew up: North Springfield.
Childhood memory: Lived close to Lake Accotink, so went there for bike riding, swimming, swinging off a rope into the lake, kayaking, canoeing and building forts in the woods. 
Current home: Annandale.
Schools: Thomas Jefferson HS and Virginia Tech.
First job: Tennis court attendant.
Job in another life: Mountain host at Deer Valley Resort (Park City, Utah) in winter and charter boat captain in summer.
Daily habit: Family dinner conversation.
Favorite app: Uber.
