Title: President, Community Three Development
Company: Over $150M of residential and commercial developed or in process, including projects in Shaw, Logan Circle, Mount Pleasant, Palisades and Capitol Hill.
Memorable project: The Residences at St. Monica’s – repurposed century-old church on Capitol Hill to nine residences that maintained and respected original architecture. Deteriorated alter was repurposed as a kitchen island in its original location in one of the homes. 
Current project: 10Eleven – 71-unit, 9-story mixed-use building in Shaw. 
CRE career: Started as architect and worked in urban design and town planning on transit-oriented and traditional neighborhoods around the country. Wanted to see design and contextual value realized throughout entire development process, so launched company.
Grew up: Chicago.
Current home: Capitol Hill – lives in townhouse renovated from a shell. 
Why DC: To work as an architect for Torti Gallas + Partners out of college.
Schools: Notre Dame (BA, architecture) and Georgetown (MBA).
First job: Summer jobs at family’s sphagnum moss company in Wisconsin. 
Job in another life: CIA code breaker. 
Daily habit: Playing with twin toddler sons during breakfast.
