Company: Developed over 21k residential units nationally and over 20M SF of commercial, including 2.5M SF US Patent & Trademark Offices in Alexandria and international terminal at JFK. Company has offices in NYC, Philly, and DC. 
Job: In charge of acquisitions and development of multifamily and commercial in DC region.
On the job: 3 years.
Memorable project: Acquiring Washington Hilton (1,100 rooms) in Dupont Circle for $290M. Hilton had developed and owned project since early ‘60s. Deal included $150M renovation program and entitlement of about $100M 200-unit multifamily tower. Challenges included keeping hotel operating during renovation, obtaining historic landmark approvals, along with a multifamily building as an addition, and working with four community groups, Historic Review Board, and Deputy Mayor’s Office.
Current project: The Altaire in Crystal City/Pentagon City. 450 units (300 apartments and 150 condos) with views of Potomac River and DC skyline. Breaking ground this year. 
CRE career: Started as IT guy for local, full-service commercial real estate company.
Grew up: Bethesda.
Favorite childhood memory: Redskins game at RFK. “Hope they come back to DC for more intimate stadium design.”
Current home: Bethesda.
Schools: Landon and UVA.
First job: Residential contractor’s assistant doing “punch list” work on home renovations.
Job in another life: Fly fishing guide.
Favorite app: Waze.
Favorite movie: Old School.
Favorite restaurant: Black Salt. 
Favorite band: Led Zeppelin.
Favorite vacation spot: Nantucket.
Guilty pleasure: Craft beer.
Bucket list: Competitive car racing.
Family: Married; three sons (ages 12, 2, and 10 months).
Hobbies: Kite boarding, back country skiing, mountain biking, road biking, wake boarding, fly fishing, and hockey.
Startling fact: Terrible swimmer despite mom competing in two Olympics.
