Photo: With wife, Melanie, in Santorini, Greece, last fall for 10th anniversary. 
Company: 300 employees; developed 12M SF of office, retail, and multifamily in DC area. Current pipeline over $1B. 
Job: Oversees development team of 20 and daily operations.
Memorable project: Entitlement process on 12 acres, 820 multifamily units in Pasadena, Calif., from 2004-07. Was 24, and equity partner asked if there would be adult supervision.
Current project: Park Potomac – delivering 300 multifamily units, 30k SF of retail, and 120k SF of office by end of year. 
CRE career: Stumbled in after realizing career as mortician, investment banker, or management consultant wouldn’t be appealing. Took job in Southern California with multifamily developer after college.
Grew up: Mesa, Arizona.
Current home: Frederick County, Md., but moving to Vienna.
Schools: BYU and Wharton (MBA).
First job: Worked at father’s mortuaries.
Job in another life: Teacher.
Daily habit: Fight urge to consume chocolate at all times.
Favorite app: Camera+.
Favorite restaurant: Guapo’s – miss all the Mexican food in Arizona.
Favorite vacation spot: Virgin Gorda.
Guilty pleasure: 80s music.
Bucket list: Scuba dive Great Barrier Reef.
Family: Married; two sons, two daughters (ages 8 and under); dog and hamster.
Hobbies: Endurance events – sign up for many, participate in a few.
Startling fact: Got hit in the head with a pick axe by cousin when young – “not startling, but telling.”
