Job: Oversee buying, selling, financing, and operating of firm’s 5M SF of mid-Atlantic properties. 
Memorable project: Re-development on Colesville Road in Silver Spring into the 31k SF Shoppes of Burnt Mills, anchored by Trader Joe’s. Grew up in Four Corners area. 
Current project: Re-positioning 150k SF former Sym’s store in Cherry Hill, NJ. 
Why CRE: Left hotel industry after 10 years to form Finmarc in '87. Wanted DC to be home instead of moving among hotels and cities.
Grew up: Silver Spring – Northwood High. 
Childhood memory: With friends at Pop’s Pizza in Wheaton. 
Current home: Potomac.
Why DC: Transferred in 1984 from original NY Ritz-Carlton on Central Park South to Ritz-Carlton DC at 21st and Mass.
College: Maryland.
Job in another life: Baltimore Ravens owner.
Daily habit: E-mails, constantly.

Favorite movie: Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Favorite TV shows: 24, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Homeland, and Game of Thrones.   
Favorite restaurant: The Palm, Tysons.
Favorite musician and song: Your Song, Elton John.
Favorite vacation spot: Family winter home in Boca Raton.
Guilty pleasure: Anything sugar--gum, peanut M&Ms, Starbursts.
Bucket list: Golf at Augusta National. 
Family: Married to Susan 26 years; four children (25, 23, 18, 13); and Havanese named Tucker. 
Hobby: Golf with “A” team (friends Fu, Frankel, and Tabach).
Startling fact: Started Finmarc with best friend since kindergarten, Marc Solomon.
