Jair Lynch Seeking Partner For Another H Street Development

After delivering its 307-unit Anthology apartment building on H Street NE in October, Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners has shifted its eyes to the adjacent site.

The developer has retained Cushman & Wakefield to market 609 H St NE to potential partners or buyers, the Washington Business Journal reports.

The building is currently a five-story, 90k SF office building. The property could be redeveloped into 96k SF of office, 127k SF of residential or a hotel.

The latter could be the most likely option. The developer, with architect Cooper Carry, submitted a concept plan last month for a boutique AC Hotel by Marriott.

The Anthology building, which Jair Lynch is pictured above standing on top of, included H Street's first Starbucks. Across the street, Insight Property Group is preparing to deliver The Apollo, a 432-unit apartment building with H Street's first Whole Foods on the ground floor. [WBJ]
