Some big projects have already delivered in DC this year, including the redeveloped Old Post Office Building hotel, but the year's final stretch will see several major developments completed that will have significant impacts on their neighborhoods.

MGM recently announced a Dec. 8 grand opening for its $1.3B National Harbor resort and casino. The resort's 3,000-seat theater has already booked Bruno Mars, Jim Gaffigan and Kings of Leon to perform in its first month. The 1M SF resort will also have a 125k SF casino floor, a 308-room hotel, 50k SF of meeting and event space, 18k SF of retail and a 5,000-space parking garage.
