A Ballpark View of Jair Lynch's Half Street Project

Ahead of a scheduled Zoning Commission public hearing on May 28, Jair Lynch has filed new renderings of the Half Street project, along with a pre-hearing statement and a transportation impact study. One of the renderings showcases a prominent view of the building from inside Nationals Park. Jair Lynch has two plans for the Half Street project, which it purchased from Monument Realty for $34M, the Washington Business Journal reports. One involves 401.6k SF of residential space and 60k SF of retail. The second has 326.5k SF of residential, with 75k SF of hotel and 60k SF of retail. Both versions allow for 7,900 SF of N Street residential space to be converted into retail if necessary. Hord Coplan Macht will design the modern building, which will feature two stories of retail, and glass bays overlooking Half Street. It will be built to a scale that fits with surrounding development. [WBJ]
