Washington Residents Not too Keen on a Redskins Return

On May 5, Mayor Bowser reached out to her followers, hoping to rally them together in support of bringing the Washington Redskins back to DC. The response was overwhelmingly negative. Aside from the many ways to say "No," one standout answer was "Maybe if they change their name. Actually, wait, no, never mind. We want none of that," Curbed reports. In January, Bowser said the she wanted the Redskins to come home, and even hopes DC will host a Super Bowl one day. However, a prerequisite would be that the team changes its name. If owner Dan Snyder does decide to change his stance on the matter, RFK Stadium is the potential site. [Curbed]
