A 14-year veteran of The JBG Cos. and JBG Smith has left to join Washington Property Co

Quinn Rounsaville, who worked as a vice president in JBG Smith's leasing and asset management group, will become a vice president of acquisitions at WPC.

While at JBG, Rounsaville focused on leasing and managing commercial properties in Maryland and D.C. Prior to joining JBG in 2004, Rounsaville was an associate at Cassidy & Pinkard, where he worked on Northern Virginia leasing deals. He received his bachelor's degree and a Master of Real Estate Finance degree from Georgetown University

Bethesda-based WPC broke ground last year on a 338-unit Silver Spring mixed-use project. It also last year acquired office buildings in Fairfax County and Montgomery County.

"Quinn has extensive leasing and asset management skills gained from years of experience at some of the leading commercial real estate companies in our area, including the last 14 at JBG," WPC principal Andrew Eshelman said. "His hiring will significantly enhance our ability to transact and execute on a variety of real estate acquisitions."
