Veterans Get New Home in Southeast

Development partners United States Veterans Initiative and MED Developers broke ground Friday on a new complex at 150 Wayne Place SE that will house 85 US vets. The $2.7M project, near Bolling AFB, is being built by Moseley Construction, and VP of pre-construction Mike Kujan tells us work will officially begin in July or early August. Snapped here: USVI chief Stephen Peck (son of Oscar winner Gregory) at the podium with colleagues Shalimar Cabrera and Darryl Vincent, as well as MED's Bruce Finland.
