Junior Achievement Raises Record Amount at Annual Hall of Fame Event

The Academy Awards of the DC business community were held last week at the National Building Museum. The annual black-tie Washington Business Hall of Fame event raises money for Junior Achievement of Greater Washington—this year’s event raised a record $1.3M

Five laureates were inducted into the Hall of Fame: Honest Tea co-founder Seth Goldman (second from left); Planning Research Corp executive (retired) John Toups; SunTrust Bank (retired) chairman and CEO Scott Wilfong; Salamander Hotels & Resorts CEO and Monumental Sports & Entertainment vice chairman Sheila Johnson; and Pepco chairman, president and CEO Joe Rigby.
