Slate Office REIT Sells Properties in Winnipeg, Newfoundland
Slate Office REIT has reached binding agreements to sell 12 industrial properties in Manitoba and three retail properties in Newfoundland, two separate transactions worth $56.2M total. The industrial properties in Winnipeg—including 1855 Sargent Ave (above) and 891-895 Century St, a total of 516k SF—are being sold to an undisclosed purchaser for $47M. The Newfoundland retail properties (Fraser Mall in Gander, Marystown Mall and Millbrook Mall, 305k SF total) were sold to an undisclosed purchaser for $9.2M. In other news, Slate Office REIT has named Robert Armstrong its new CFO. He previously worked with Deloitte and Brookfield Asset Management.
