Harris County Judge Ed Emmett will be the keynote speaker at the Houston BOMA membership luncheon on Sept. 22.
Judge Emmett will be focusing on National Preparedness Month. In his capacity as director of Harris County's office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, he has helped Houston navigate trying times such as Hurricane Ike.
The event takes place at the Westin Houston Memorial City, 945 Gessner Road in Houston, from 11:30am to 1pm.
