What Is The Future Of Crypto And Proptech In Miami? Find Out At Bisnow’s March 17 Event

Placeholder

Cryptocurrency is used to purchase everything from valuable works of art to cheap cups of coffee. Despite its massive rise in popularity, however, many commercial real estate professionals appear to be taking a wait-and-see attitude on blockchain technology — the digital ledger system that records crypto transactions that some believe could bring greater ease and transparency to commercial real estate.

They may not want to wait too long, however, because some observers predict crypto could soon be used in as many as 50% of real estate transactions.

Whether it becomes commonplace for contracts to be recorded on the blockchain as nonfungible tokens, or people begin snapping up virtual buildings in the metaverse, some CRE professionals see an immediate and growing opportunity in leasing brick-and-mortar spaces to cryptocurrency firms.

One of these pioneers is Moishe Mana, president of development company Mana Common, who made headlines when he began to target blockchain companies as tenants for some of his brick-and-mortar office properties in Miami

Mana will be the keynote speaker at Bisnow’s live event, “Crypto and Proptech in Miami,” on March 17. To learn more about and register for the event, click here.

Proptech and transportation development will be among the topics discussed on the panel “Future Advances in South Florida CRE.” Joining the discussion will be:
