Roberto Espejo is the Senior Project Coordinator for Florida at Ennead Architects. He leads the project management and on-going relationships the firm has in South Florida, with a concentration on Miami.

With over 35 years of experience, he excels in the coordination of complex projects from the beginning and steady communication during the delivery and CA stages. Among his most notable accomplishments was his leadership in the design, documentation, and construction of the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami. He has successfully delivered over 5,000,000 GSF of commercial, education, and cultural projects throughout the U.S, Mexico, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. A seasoned communicator, he is a firm leader in bringing owners, users, and construction management partners together to solve problems and engage in a sound, efficient, and thorough decision-making process. A longtime resident of South Florida, he received his M.Arch from Yale University and his BS in Architecture from the University of Illinois.

Jeffrey Berman is a General Partner at Camber Creek. Jeffrey runs Camber Creek’s New York office where he sources deal flow and coordinates customer acquisition, retention and marketing strategies for Camber Creek’s portfolio companies. Jeffrey brings close to two decades of executive experience in the real estate industry and has served on the Board of Directors and Advisory Boards of numerous companies, in addition to coordinating investments in same. Jeffrey graduated with a BA (with distinction) from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Merrick has more than 25 years experience in the FinTech industry. Currently, he is the Vice President of Marketing for BitPay. BitPay builds powerful, enterprise-grade tools for crypto acceptance, payouts and spending. Prior to BitPay, Merrick held marketing leadership roles in BillMo, iSend and CheckFree/Fiserv. He resides in North Atlanta.

Dave Roque is the Vice President of USI Insurance Services, leading the FinTech/Cryptocurrency Division. Dave is responsible for the coordination, oversight and execution of insurance programs for Cryptocurrency and Digital Asset risks and VIP Clientele.

With over 18+ years of industry experience, Dave holds various prestige industry designations: Dave is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI), holds his Associates in Risk Management (ARM), Associates in Insurance Services (AAI), Associates in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) and Associates in Reinsurance (ARe).

Dave has been involved in the Insurance placement for notable prestige clients, writing lines such as large Property placements from their Builders Risk phase through their final and ongoing general insurance placement, complex Casualty placements including Reinsurance participation’s and Property & Casualty Captive placements.

Mario Varon, M.Sc in Computer Science, is a serial entrepreneur who has founded several VR, IoT, and software startups. He holds several patents and is an IEEE peer reviewer. He was also the recipient of the top inventor prize by the Colombian government in 2021. As CEO of ImagineX, he’s trying to create the next revolution for buying and renovating homes in the real world and the metaverse.
