Another development could soon crop up near Google’s proposed mega-campus in San Jose. TMG Partners and Valley Oak Partners plan to create 1M SF of office in an old industrial area north of SAP Center, the Mercury News reports. The 5.4-acre site along the Guadalupe River would be near Diridon Station and the Google campus and could support up to 5,000 workers. The proximity to major mass transit in this area is providing opportunities for developers to create transit-oriented developments.

With the Google campus, Trammell Crow project and the TMG-Valley Oak project, developments could support 30,000 office workers, which would increase Downtown San Jose’s workforce by 77%. A potential total of 10M SF also would be developed, turning an old industrial corridor into a thriving neighborhood.
