The New Zealand-based Rodd & Gunn menswear retail store will open in Bellevue Square this spring as part of a 10-store expansion into the U.S. market.

Rodd & Gunn, a menswear brand, will open its seventh U.S. location in Bellevue Square this spring. The retailer plans to open three more stores in the U.S. this year.

“We’ve been keen on the Eastside for quite some time — Bellevue is experiencing such exciting growth and we’re excited to become a part of that,” Rodd & Gunn CEO Mike Beagley said in a statement. “We understand it’s not about flash and pomp here, but about quality and style with substance. That is why we hope Rodd & Gunn will resonate with men in Seattle and Bellevue.”

The brand’s designers source premium Italian fabrics from European mills. New Zealand merino wool is woven into its sweaters and sports coats.

Its 2K SF space in Bellevue Square is next to Coach, which is near Nordstrom and Macy’s. Rodd & Gunn also has stores in Newport Beach, Los Angeles, San Diego, DUMBO/Brooklyn, Greenwich and Dallas. It has more than 100 stores in Australia and New Zealand. Its clothing and accessories are carried by Nordstrom.
