Apple Will Host Annual Conference In San Jose, Not San Francisco, This Year

Great news for San Jose hospitality. Apple said Thursday it will host its annual developer conference in San Jose this year instead of in San Francisco. The event held June 5 to June 9 will take place in McEnery Convention Center, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. The convention has been held in San Francisco for the past 14 years in either the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium or Moscone Center.

Apple said the move brings developers closer to its Cupertino headquarters. Facebook and Google will also host their developer conferences in Silicon Valley locations this year instead of in San Francisco.
