Monday Blues

San Francisco Other

We all know you love your whites and reds, so get a load of this: Monday night we stopped at the SF Jazz Miner Auditorium, along with a couple hundred guests where the Crimson Wine Group paired vino with jazz to celebrate the launch of Luminary, the first American wine to cross state lines and blend fruit from four iconic vineyards (aka a four-piece band that's music to your mouth). An interactive jazz performance by the Pamela Rose Quartet accented the wine tasting, hosted by winemaker Michael Beaulac of Pine Ridge Vineyards in Napa. The three other properties that contribute grapes to create Luminary include Double Canyon in Washington state, Chamisal Vineyards in Edna Valley, and Seghesio Family Vineyards in Sonoma County's Alexander Valley.
