Salesforce Tower Nearly Leased Up

Salesforce Tower is close to delivering fully pre-leased. Boston Properties is in talks with prospective non-tech tenants for 152K SF, the San Francisco Business Times reports. One tenant could be private equity firm Hellerman & Friedman, which is said to be in talks for 50K SF at two upper floors, and another tenant could be a law firm. Demand for large blocks of space remains strong in San Francisco with over a dozen tenants looking for space of 100K SF or more.

Boston Properties recently confirmed that WeWork will take three floors, or 75K SF, at Salesforce Tower. Other confirmed tenants include Salesforce, which is leasing about 881K SF, CBRE, Accenture and Bain & Co.

The building was 87.8% leased by the end of Q3. San Francisco's tallest building is expected to deliver by the end of the year with occupancy to begin during Q1. Boston Properties owns 95% of the building, while Hines owns 5%.
