North Bay Telecom Firm Being Bought for $400M

Earlier this year, Cyan expanded into a second Petaluma building at its HQ complex that now houses around 200 employees (above). Now, in one of the largest potential North Bay deals in some time, the maker of software and systems for fiber optic telecommunications and data networks entered into a deal to be bought by Ciena for $400M. The deal is set to close in Ciena’s Q4, which ends in October, pending regulatory and shareholder approval, reports the North Bay Business Journal. [NBBJ]
