This Week At Slide...
The RECON mixer June 18 was held inside Slide, S.F.'s hip sister to Ruby Skye (the slide unfortunately wasn't open). Cassidy Turley's Kareem Barzegar (left) threw the event to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of S.F., first setting up a Transbay tour then whizzing us to Slide via Ubers. Here he's with a four-person CSDA Design Group cast: Jeff Fuller, Randall DeVoto, Vanessa Pelletier, Randy Waldeck, and Landmark Construction's Dave Conner. (The crew put down some yummy hamburgers just before this pic was snapped.) Jeff tells us he's taking over for Randall as prez of CSDA, which is a big player in the educational architecture and acoustical design sectors. We happened to guess Randall's whale tie was a Vineyard Vines, one of his favorite fashion designers.
