How the Warfield Building Landed on Spotify's Playlist

San Francisco Office

This week, we got an inside look at the Warfield Building, here with GROUP i director of acquisitions and development Leigh Chang in tenant Spotify's kitchen. The landlord bought the 1920s building in 2012, renovated it in 2013, and filled with with Benchmark Capital, Match.com, and the music service.

The 10-story building is hoping to nab a full-service restaurant for its retail space below; Equator Coffee is opening its first S.F. store there this November. As part of the deal, GROUP i turned a residential penthouse into office space, which is occupied by Benchmark Capital.
