West Oakland Finally Getting in on the East Bay Boom

Construction has started on the Station House condo project in West Oakland, a development from City Ventures that will include 171 townhomes for sale.

This is the first major ground-up construction in West Oakland since 2008. The project, bounded by 14th, Wood and 16th streets and Frontage Road will also contain 4,500 SF of ground-floor retail.

Pricing for the units is unclear, but City Ventures has started marketing the project with a new video. The video touts two- and three-bedroom townhomes that are all electric and solar-powered and highlights the West Oakland area. [SFBT]
