Shorenstein has started construction on a 304-unit apartment building at 1066 Market St. in San Francisco. The $160M project is the company’s first project in San Francisco in decades, the San Francisco Business Times reports. Swinerton Builders will construct the project, designed by Arquitectonica and Aetypic. The 12-story building will include over 4K SF of retail.
The project at 1066 Market St. is one of a handful of new residential projects rising up in Mid-Market that could add over 750 units to the neighborhood. Group I plans to build a mixed-use project with 247 condos and a 232-room hotel at 950 Market St. Tidewater Capital and Warhorse plan to build 186 units at 1028 Market St.
Shorenstein’s project is expected to deliver during Q2 2020, according to the company's website.
