Zone Design Development, based in Novato, plans to build a 106-unit apartment complex at 955 Post St between the Tenderloin and Nob Hill neighborhoods.

The project (one of the biggest proposed for the area) would tear down an existing auto repair shop, replacing it with an 85-foot-tall, nine-story building with 53 underground parking spaces, according to the San Francisco Business Times.

Zone Design has filed a preliminary proposal with the city for the project, which would cost around $10M. [SFBT]
