Zephyr Health Lease Grows Big Time

Big data analytics startup Zephyr Health just inked a deal at 450 Mission that's six times larger than its previous space. (Zephyr is Latin for "light wind," which seems to be the opposite of what we have here.)

Sources tell us the new lease for 15k SF is a giant leap from the 2,500 SF it's soon vacating at 589 Howard, a short walk away. Launched in 2011 by a former Johnson & Johnson employee, Zephyr's technology helps the life sciences industry improve research and slash the time it takes to bring therapies to market. VCs are big believers; just a few months ago Zephyr got $15M in a round co-led by Kleiner Perkins and Jafco Ventures. Cornish & Carey repped both sides. The 1920s building has about 76k SF (and fond memories of Calvin Coolidge).
