Where Have All The Subcontractors Gone?
Want to get a jump-start on upcoming deals? Meet the major San Francisco players at one of our upcoming events!
We all love that the San Francisco market is gunning on all cylinders and sectors, but Sonia Santiago (right, with friend Tori Dabisinskas at the San Francisco Mud Run) is noticing a significant lack of contractors and subcontractors being responsive for small to midsize jobs. The problem: the excitement is focused on the larger properties, and everybody wants to move in yesterday. What that means: the big projects are absorbing all the contractors. Last year, Colton Commercial & Partners launched a project management division to complement its brokerage and property management services, and the 10-person company is excited to announce Sonia as its new senior project manager. She joins the Colton team after a lifetime in the local commercial real estate biz (she owned Pillar Real Estate Services). The project management division works with landlord clients such as Vornado and tenant clients such as LendingHome and Premier Staffing. For more information on our Bisnow partner, click here.
