|SVP Mike Sanford tells us the project is a 340k SF build-to-suit development. The fully entitled project has two five-story Class-A buildings, designed and pre-registered for LEED Gold. The demo of existing buildings has already begun; vertical construction begins in a few months, with completion slated for mid-2014. Btw, this will be Kilroy’s first ground-up development in the Bay Area, although the company has developed some 65M SF in its history, and Mike himself has extensive development experience throughout California. Mike, wife Minnie, daughter Madison, and son Macallan are headed for two weeks of R&R this summer in Hawaii.
